About me

I’m Daniel. Co-founder of GrowthX. We’re around 100 people, remote-first with an office in San Francisco, and I’m usually focused on programming, product and design.

What I write here is mostly the job as it actually happens: decisions, learnings, what I’m reading. Notes for myself, and links I share with friends to get advice and opinions, or pass around internally with my team.

Before GrowthX I co-founded Know Your Company (later rebranded to Canopy), a spin-off from 37signals. Before that I led web engineering and product at IFTTT.

GrowthX.ai → GrowthOS

We build GrowthOS, a system of growth for marketing teams. Content, SEO, AI visibility and website operations in one place instead of a bunch of tools that don’t talk to each other.

We launched it in June 2026, after running the same work by hand as content marketing agency for teams at Ramp, Lovable, Vercel, Webflow and Reddit.

Output.ai

Along the way we shipped 200+ AI agents and kept hitting the same walls, so we open-sourced the framework we built for building AI products: Output. Prompts, evals, traces and cost tracking that live in your repo instead of behind a dozen SaaS logins.
